This is a project I had my physics students work on over their school break. The following three teams tried to launch an egg three meters and catch it again. The only rules were that it had to be a "hands-free" launcher & catcher.

Dennis Miller would be proud. Are you going to make them do the self-propelled car and suspension bridge too? Did I ever tell you that Bethany Davis, Jennifer Parks and I rocked at all three projects? We obliterated our opponents.
